Tommy Cattin
Choreographer / Dancer
Tommy is the artistic leader and founder of EREM dance. He is a Swiss and Italian dance artist who works as free-lance performer, choreographer and teacher.
As part of his artistic journey, Tommy was able to experience collaborations and teaching with a wide range of international dance artists such as Elisa Pagani, Marie Chouinard, Marie Brolin-Tani, Theo Clinkard, Rahel Vonmoos, Fabio Liberti, Igor & Moreno, Lali Ayguadé, Rosas Dance Company, amongst many others.
Virginia Poli
Dancer
Virginia is originally from Tuscany, Italy, where she began her dance training.
In 2014 she moved to London, where she completed her Bachelor in Contemporary Dance at the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance with a First Class Honours.
During the 2018-19 season she was a member of Transitions Company, where she was able to perform a a triple bill by Marina Collard, Karole Armitage and Hetain Patel. She later graduated with Master's degree in Contemporary Dance Performance at Trinity Laban.
As a freelance artist, Virginia has worked with Giulia Paoli, member of the Animali Celesti, and Maxine Doyle, as part of an international television series.
Sara Maurizi
Dancer
Sara is born and grew up in Italy. She began dancing at the Centro Civico Dance Gallery in Perugia.
After moving to London, she graduated from Trinity Laban with a Bachelor's degree in contemporary dance and received the Marion North Award for outstanding achievement in contemporary dance.
Sara was a member of VERVE 19, the company of the Northern School of Contemporary Dance in Leeds. Under the artistic direction of Matthew Robison, she performed works by Maxine Doyle, Joan Clevillé, Ben Wright, and Noa Zuk Ohad Fishof. Sara also holds a Master's degree in Contemporary Dance from the NSCD in Leeds.
During her professional career, Sara has worked with artists such as Alice Gosti, Joel Cidade, Valentina Romito and Foco alAire Producciones.
Massimo Monticelli
Dancer / Teacher / Coordinator
Massimo Monticelli grew up in Bologna, Italy, where he began his dance training and completed a Bachelor in Letters at the Alma Mater Studiorum University.
He graduated from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London with a Bachelor's degree in Contemporary Dance. He also studied for several months at the CNSMD in Paris, where he was able to work with Rachid Ouramdane.
He completed his professional training with a Master's degree in Contemporary Dance Performance at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance in Leeds. He was part of VERVE, the company of the same school, and with whom he was able to perform a mixed bill with pieces by Joan Clevillé, Ben Wright, Maxine Doyle and Noa Zuk.
As freelance dancer, Massimo dances in the DNA Company, directed by the choreographer Elisa Pagani, of which he is an assistant.
Based in Bologna, he works as a teacher at the Almadanza Dance School, and as a communication and production manager in the same DNA Company and in the professional center of contemporary dance Almaprodance.
Giordana Patumi
Assistant / Coordinator / Costume adviser
Giordana Patumi is a dancer, arts manager, and also an editor for two online newspapers.
Born in Italy, she began her training in dance, music and theatre. She undertook a year of pre-professional training at Copenhagen Contemporary Dance School, where she was able to get in touch with several dance styles and teachers.
She later moved to London, where she completed her Bachelor of Contemporary Dance at Trinity Laban Conservatory of Music and Dance with First Class Honours. After having the opportunity to teach students of contemporary dance at the University of Murcia (ES), she decided to undertake a Master's degree in Performing Arts Management, held by the Academy of Teatro alla Scala and the MIP in Milan, Italy. As part of the Master's degree, she moved to New York to join the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre Company as an apprentice in shows productions.
